Overview
Built and led the creative program for Zappos Adaptive / a dedicated shopping experience for people with disabilities. Designed the website, established the visual identity, and produced and shot all campaign photography from launch through 2022. The platform grew to attract major brand partnerships with Nike, UGG, Adidas, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Insight 01
The program needed a home. Our team designed the Zappos Adaptive website from scratch / a dedicated shopping experience built specifically for people with disabilities. The site had to feel like fashion retail, not a medical catalogue. Clear navigation, inclusive UX, and a visual system that put the product and the people wearing it front and center.
Insight 02
Zappos Adaptive was built for a population the fashion industry had largely ignored. The program needed everything created from scratch / a site, a visual identity, a casting philosophy. The creative direction was clear from the start: show disability with style, humor, and zero pity. Every image had to say this person belongs here — because they do.
Insight 03
I produced and shot all the campaign photography. Danny reacting to a shark in a Tommy Hilfiger tee. Lolo in couture red on a pink background. Lincoln completely unbothered by his AFO brace. Fashion-forward casting, bold color, real personalities. The images looked like fashion campaigns because that's exactly what they were.
Insight 04
When the program had built real credibility and reach, the major brands came. Nike chose Zappos Adaptive as a key partner for the FlyEase launch / one of their most celebrated accessibility innovations. UGG followed with their own Adaptive collection shot on location in Oceanside. The creative platform I built became the trusted home for adaptive fashion at scale.
